Climb without paying for ads
The Website plan gets you a site Google can rank. The Local plan keeps working on it. You get a separate page for every service you offer and every suburb or town you cover, because "plumber Papamoa" and "hot water cylinder Papamoa" are different searches and Google wants a page that matches each one. Every month you get a local post on your site, about a job, a suburb or a question customers ask, so Google has a new page to find you with. And every month I run a full local SEO audit: where you show up for your trade and your town, what the businesses above you are doing differently, and what to fix next. Then I make the website fixes it turns up, at no extra charge.
It's the same work that took my own Gecko Lawns site from about position 15 to about 7. You just don't get the ads, so it takes months rather than days.
The Growth plan, explainedThree spots on the front page of Google
When someone searches your trade and your town, the front page of Google has three places you can show up: the paid ads at the top, the map pack with the three local businesses, and the organic results underneath. Most tradies are in none of them. The Growth plan is built to get you into all three.
- Paid ads. I set them up and run them. $100 of spend each month is already in the price. You're at the top of the page the week we switch them on.
- Map pack. Your Google Business Profile, set up properly and linked to the site, with Review Robot feeding it the reviews that move it up the map.
- Organic. The website itself, the monthly audit and fixes, plus a local post every week instead of every month.
The ads bring work in from day one. The map pack and the organic results take a few months to climb, and when they do, you can drop back to the Website plan or keep all three running.
I've run Google Ads for around 20 lawn care operators and I run them for my own round. One client who'd had a website for four years without getting calls picked up 21 leads in the first 30 days after I rebuilt his site and switched the ads on. Agencies want a contract and $500 to $1,000 a month in spend. Local ads for a local business don't need that.
One client per location
Growth is limited to one client per location. I won't run ads for two businesses in the same patch, because competing campaigns just push the price up for both of you. If your area is already taken, I'll tell you straight away. Your area is yours while you're on the plan.
Keep them running
Ads work like a steam train. Stop them for winter and it takes weeks to get back up to speed. The plan is month to month, but you'll get more out of it by leaving it on and letting the leads stack up.
The weekly local post
Every week I put a short post on your site about something local: a job you did, a suburb you cover, a question customers ask. It gives Google new pages to find you with. Since I started doing this on my own Gecko Lawns site, its average Google position went from about 15 to about 7.
Review Robot
Reviews are what move a Google Business Profile up the map. Review Robot works through your customer list and texts each one from your own number asking for a review. It needs an Android phone to run on. iPhone users keep a cheap Android at home for it. Matthew Dixon of Love Thy Lawn got a new review from his third text.
Questions about the money
Is there really no setup fee?
Really. The first money that moves is your first month, and only after you've seen the site and said yes.
What if I cancel?
Tell me and the site comes down at the end of the month you've paid for. The domain is in your name, so it goes with you. So does your Google Business Profile. I set it up, but it stays yours, as my way of saying thanks.
Can I start on Growth and move down later?
Yes. A lot of people run Growth until the Google profile and site are bringing in enough work on their own, then drop to Local or Website.
What's in the monthly local SEO audit?
A plain written check of where your site and Google profile show up for your trade and town, what the businesses above you are doing, and a short list of what to fix. I do the website fixes as part of the plan.
Can I add Review Robot to the Website plan?
Ask me. It depends on your setup, so it's easier to sort on the phone.
Is GST included?
Ask me when we talk and I'll give you the exact figure for your invoice.

What the organic side looks like on my own site
Three months of Google Search Console for Gecko Lawns. Same website, same weekly local posts you'd get on Growth.
My own Gecko Lawns site in Google Search Console, last 3 months to 9 November 2026. The line is average Google position, so up is good. The climb is the weekly local posts doing their job.
And what the enquiries look like across every client site
My client dashboard, last 30 days to 9 November 2026. It counts the form sends and phone taps on every site I host.
The five busiest sites in the table are all on the Growth plan. Number six runs no ads at all: 19 enquiries from 152 visitors, every one of them from Google. Client names are blurred because their numbers are their business.
